Come learn about Liberia!

Julia Duncan-Cassell

Blessings to all,

I would like to cordially invite all the Daughters of the King in Province 1 to a presentation at Holy Trinity Church in Southbridge, Ma. on August 15th, at the 9:30 service. Holy Trinity will be hosting Julia Duncan-Cassell. Julia is a member of the Episcopal Church in Buchanan, Liberia and is president of her local chapter of the Sons and Daughters of the King (SDOK). She will be presenting and informing us about the role and mission work of the Episcopal Church and the SDOK in Liberia. Julia’s visit is an important part of our local chapter’s on-going mission and fellowship in prayer, between our churches and countries.

Our local chapter, here at Holy Trinity, has been collecting supplies (children’s clothing, school supplies, toiletries, and face masks, etc.) and shipping them to Liberia as part of this mutual ministry. There is serious poverty in the country and children are going without the basic needs of these items. In addition, the Delta variant of Covid 19 is devastating the Liberian people; many are dying. Please, pray for the Liberian people and our mutual ministry. I encourage you to attend this presentation; listen and learn first-hand from Julia about “our brothers and sisters” in Liberia and the impact of this mission.

For His Sake,
Susan L. Grant
President of the Mary and Martha Chapter of the Daughters of the King
at Holy Trinity Church, Southbridge, Ma.
